About the position

CUMULUS MEDIA | Buffalo is seeking a talented and dynamic Senior Multi-Media Account Executive who thrives in a fast-paced working environment. This role focuses on achieving media sales goals through a combination of traditional and digital media offerings, targeting clients in the Buffalo/Niagara region and leveraging a national network to provide customized advertising solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify client business needs by understanding their goals, objectives, and external environment.
  • Deliver effective multi-platform, integrated sales presentations including broadcast, digital, and events.
  • Sell Cumulus' station digital assets and digital audience extension products to provide complete marketing solutions.
  • Prospect and seek new clientele through networking, cold calling, and referrals to maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects.
  • Follow corporate procedures for preparing orders, resolving billing issues, and submitting sales reports.
  • Stay updated on the competitive landscape and emerging technologies to position Cumulus effectively in the marketplace.
  • Think creatively and generate original ideas for advertising solutions.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in Media Sales background required.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, social networking platforms, and CRM tools.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience developing new business relationships in an outside sales role.
  • Strong presentation skills to clients regarding sales opportunities and post-sale successes.
  • Understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
  • Comprehension of sales metrics to fill a sales funnel and maintain a robust pipeline of residual business.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to grow professionally.
  • High energy and passion for the job.
  • Flexible and creative approach to problem-solving.
  • Digitally savvy.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing or related field preferred.
