About the position

The Sr. National Sales Manager- Property at Sedgwick is responsible for managing the nationwide promotion and direction of the sales organization. This role involves developing national objectives for field sales activity, coordinating sales strategies, and ensuring effective execution of sales campaigns. The position requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills to support and motivate the sales team while maintaining relationships with key national accounts and industry partners.

Responsibilities

  • Develop national objectives for field sales activity.
  • Integrate and differentiate field sales efforts with marketing staff and management.
  • Coordinate development of sales objectives, strategies, and promotional programs.
  • Ensure execution of sales campaigns and optimum use of manpower.
  • Periodically visit key national markets to manage national accounts.
  • Review market analyses to determine customer needs and develop sales campaigns.
  • Represent the company at industry association meetings and trade shows.
  • Act as a liaison between sales and other departments.
  • Prepare periodic sales reports showing sales volumes and potential sales.
  • Develop content strategy and manage internal and external relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
  • Ten (10) years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and meet or exceed performance competencies.
