About the position

Innova Solutions is seeking a Sr. .NET Developer for a contract position in Kansas City, Missouri. This role involves full stack development with a focus on React, where the developer will create and support customer-facing software applications. The position requires advanced technical support and adherence to company standards, with an emphasis on independent problem-solving and collaboration with IT staff to troubleshoot and resolve software defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-complexity software applications consistent with specifications.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing on new and existing software.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects in software applications and systems.
• Communicate specific logic involved in assigned tasks and system documentation clearly.
• Conduct peer code reviews and collaborate with the team to improve design and code quality.
• Make recommendations for system improvements and architectural direction.

Requirements

• Associates degree or 2 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree.
• 5+ years of professional development experience building web services using C#.Net, React, WPF, SQL, WebAPI, and other related technologies.
• Considered an expert in Web Services development.
• 1-year professional experience architecting a software application using applicable technologies.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
