About the position

The Sr. Network Engineer (CCNP-Security) at Concept Plus is responsible for managing, coordinating, and conducting network analysis, focusing on the operation and administration of LAN/WAN infrastructure. This role involves designing solutions, executing new implementations, and recommending improvements to meet organizational requirements for performance, security, and compliance. The engineer will also support Cisco ISE and Firepower appliances, and work within cloud environments such as Google Cloud and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify, diagnose, troubleshoot issues, and develop solutions to implement on customer networks.
• Manage and solve Tier 1 through Tier 3 issues.
• Resolve assigned trouble tickets.
• Provide cloud networking and support for Google Cloud Platform and OCI environments.
• Utilize direct and frequent experience with ISE/DNAC.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience.
• 6+ years overall experience in network engineering.
• Proficient with IP Routing Protocols (OSPFv3, OSPFv2, BGP), QoS, Multicast, MPLS.
• Proficient in VPN technologies - Remote Access and Site-to-Site VPNs.
• Expert-level knowledge and experience with design, implementation, and support of Cisco ISE and FTD.
• Ability to work with end users, communicate clearly, and meet deadlines.
• Ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance (Clearable).
• CCNP Certification.

Nice-to-haves

• Certifications in multiple technology areas.
• Cisco Datacenter (Nexus, UCS) experience.
• Working knowledge of MS Visio.
• Working knowledge of Nagios and SolarWinds.
• Experience with Linux, automation scripting with Python and GitLab/Ansible.
• IPv6 security, configuration, and troubleshooting experience.
• CCIE-written (R&S) or CCNP - Security.
