This hybrid position is based in Tampa, FL, with on-site requirements determined by project needs. The role involves gathering information about the capabilities of company products, investigating the technical capabilities of both company and competing equipment, and staying updated on developments in hardware and software. The engineer will generate quantifiable requirements based on customer descriptions and system planning and design, ensuring compliance through formal verification methods. Additionally, the engineer will translate high-level product development strategies into detailed network and system requirement specifications, collaborating with other engineering disciplines to develop lower-level implementation requirements. The Senior Network Engineer will establish and coordinate the development of standards, practices, and procedures related to network and system development. Responsibilities include designing interfaces and integrating network and system elements to function cohesively, assessing performance using evaluation criteria and technical performance measures, and acting as a customer liaison to support business development activities while understanding and shaping requirements. The position requires working in a fast-paced environment alongside a team of specialized engineers, providing engineering and implementation actions for integration, modernization, and new installations for partner nations and allies in the Southern and European Command areas of responsibility.
