About the position

The Senior Network Engineer's primary role is overseeing and ensuring smooth operation, reliability, and access to the entire enterprise network. This position takes an end-to-end view of all systems and networks with a strong emphasis on system integration and security. The Senior Network Engineer may be required to supervise the work of other network staff. This role is critical in defining future network architecture, mapping business strategies to technology strategies, and aligning business needs with the IT infrastructure. The Senior Network Engineer will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that the network infrastructure supports the organization's goals and objectives effectively. This includes evaluating current network performance, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that enhance network efficiency and security. Additionally, the Senior Network Engineer will be responsible for maintaining documentation related to network configurations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The role may also involve staying updated with the latest networking technologies and trends to recommend upgrades or changes that could benefit the organization.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves
