About the position
As the Sr. Network Engineer at XiFin, you will play a critical role in designing, enhancing, and implementing cutting-edge technology that supports our operations. You will be instrumental in ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our network that enables us to deliver exceptional services to our customers. Your expertise in network security, routing, switching, and cloud environments will be essential in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our network infrastructure. You may be hired as a Sr. Network Engineer or a Staff Network Engineer based on your depth of skill and breadth of experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain network architecture, standards, and guidelines to support current and future business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design scalable, secure, and high-performance network solutions.
- Implement and manage network security protocols, policies, and best practices to safeguard the organization's data and infrastructure.
- Design and optimize network routing and switching protocols to ensure seamless data flow and minimal downtime.
- Design and integrate public cloud networks (Azure, AWS, and Oracle), our private cloud, and office networks to support scalable and reliable application delivery.
- Monitor and analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and come up with strategies to optimize network efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive network documentation, including network diagrams.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of proven experience as a Network Engineer/Architect or a similar role in designing and managing complex networks.
- Proficiency in network platforms (e.g., Prisma Cloud, Cisco, Azure, F5, etc.).
- Expertise in routing and switching technologies (e.g., BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VLANs).
- Solid understanding of network virtualization and SDN (Software-Defined Networking) concepts.
- Industry certifications such as CCNA, CISSP, CCIE, JNCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
