DarkStar Intelligence, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sr. Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of federal government security requirements as well as knowledge in a variety of networking technologies and protocols. This position is full-time and requires U.S. citizenship. The work will be conducted on-site at Fort Meade, Maryland, and the candidate must hold a Top Secret/SCI clearance with a Counterintelligence Polygraph. The shift schedule for this role is from 2 PM to 10 PM. In this role, the Sr. Network Engineer will be responsible for planning, researching, designing, and modeling robust cloud-native web applications. The candidate will need to acquire a complete understanding of the customer's technology and the appropriate usage of Cloud and Container technology, such as AWS and Kubernetes. The engineer will be responsible for designing, creating, testing, and maintaining web front-end applications hosted in Cloud Service Providers. Interaction with customers and team members to gather and define requirements is essential, as well as prototyping web applications using wireframing and system design tools. The Sr. Network Engineer will analyze requirements to determine the most effective web technologies to satisfy customer needs and coordinate the creation and collection of necessary technology components to integrate them into a coherent web application design. Following a formal Agile-based design process is crucial, as is the ability to design and develop visually pleasing, content-rich, user-friendly interfaces with intuitive navigation. The engineer will deliver comprehensive web application solutions to meet customer requirements and maintain configuration management.
