About the position

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to onboard a Sr. Network Engineer to their team in Irvine, CA. This individual will be responsible for supporting network services and voice services for the client's new facility. The primary duties will include troubleshooting any network and voice issues, as well as maintaining and administering computer networks and related network software system environments. This includes working with Identity Engines, connectivity-related application software, hardware, and configurations. The ideal candidate will possess strong experience and understanding of Cisco Networking and Cisco Voice systems. This position is a 9-month contract and will require the individual to be onsite in Irvine, CA. The pay range for this role is $50/hr to $55/hr.

Responsibilities

• Support network services and voice services for the client's new facility.
• Troubleshoot network and voice issues as they arise.
• Maintain and administer computer networks and related network software system environments.
• Work with Identity Engines and connectivity-related application software.
• Manage hardware and configurations related to network services.

Requirements

• 8+ years of proven experience in network engineering.
• Strong experience with routing and switching technologies.
• Proficiency in Cisco Networking and Cisco Voice systems, preferably Cisco Jabber.
• Certifications: CCNP certification, CCNA certification, ACSP certification.
• Familiarity with Palo Alto firewalls.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with SD-WAN, Silver Peak, Aruba, and Aruba Voice.
