About the position

The Senior Network Implementation Program Manager at Lumen is responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, coordination, and management of various projects related to the construction of Outside Plant (OSP) facilities. This role involves managing the entire construction process from conceptualization to completion, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. The position requires effective communication and relationship-building with contractors, trade workers, and project managers, as well as accurate reporting on project progress.

Responsibilities

• End to end project management for various projects involving the relocation, maintenance, repair, and construction of ISP and OSP facilities.
• Oversee the construction process from concept to completion and ensure that the projects meet the quality, budget, and timelines for delivery.
• Build relationships, manage, and supervise engineering vendors, construction contractors, various trade workers, and project managers.
• Effective workload balancing among resources to maintain schedules.
• Effectively manage the quality and completion of work by all vendors through inspecting, identifying, and correcting any issues.
• Field interface for engineering or construction.
• Report on the progress of all projects and update key stakeholders and applicable systems.
• Creating MOPs for all maintenance activities on the fiber network.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education with 6+ years of experience or 4+ years with a Master's Degree.
• Knowledgeable and able to work in appropriate systems, such as CAD, GIS, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent on current approved products and technology.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in telecommunication network engineering, construction, maintenance, and repair environments.
• Possesses project management and coordination skills, as well as strong technical, analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
