About the position

The Sr Network Security Engineer is responsible for developing and maintaining the overall logical and technical network architecture for the organization. This role involves providing technical solutions and consulting, ensuring that network capacity meets current and future requirements, and participating in strategic decision-making and project planning. The engineer will also oversee network performance, security solutions, and collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans for network capacity.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures for network resource administration.
  • Develop and deploy methodologies for testing network performance and providing statistics and reports.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend cost-effective solutions.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to network configuration and processes.
  • Plan and coordinate installation of network devices across the organization.
  • Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues as needed.
  • Manage servers and ensure network connectivity of all devices.
  • Participate in managing all network security solutions.

Requirements

  • 15 years' experience in strategic network architectural design and operational excellence.
  • 10 years' experience designing enterprise-wide LANs, WANs, WLANs, VPNs, and virtual networks.
  • Excellent knowledge of current protocols and standards.
  • Experience with Routers, Switches, Firewalls, and Security Software.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in WAN, LAN, and Wi-Fi technology.
  • Strong knowledge of IT security requirements and experience in information security.
  • Experience with Lean IT concepts and ITIL.
