About the position

Sunrun is seeking a Sr. System Performance Coordinator to engage with customers for activating solar panel systems and provide desktop troubleshooting support to field service professionals. This role involves using monitoring portals to detect system issues, auditing work orders, creating service tickets, and recommending field fixes based on in-depth investigations of accounts. The coordinator will leverage their expertise in solar technologies to enhance the efficiency of field operations and improve customer experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and execute on Sunrun's corporate policies and best practices
  • Notify and educate customers on post-PTO activation process
  • Monitor cases of service needs
  • Review install work orders and detect install deviations that require additional field work
  • Remotely diagnose PV system issues due to non-operation (commissioning and activation)
  • Maximize Field Service professional efficiency by appropriately routing escalations
  • Optimize dispatches utilizing solar and electrical expertise
  • Provide troubleshooting support to Field Service Technicians
  • Remain current with PV technologies
  • Improve customer experience by helping to eliminate future unnecessary service visits
  • Provide feedback on trends to internal quality teams
  • Meet performance goals set forth by management
  • Understand the Field Operations Manual, manufacturer's specifications and requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred but not required)
  • Minimum 3 years experience in electrical or solar industries
  • Excellent, timely customer engagement skills, with strong interpersonal communication
  • Fluency in Salesforce, Google Apps, and monitoring platforms
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Solar installation/design experience
  • NABCEP Associate certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of current NEC and local AHJ regulations
  • Self-sufficient and highly motivated
