About the position

AMDEX is seeking a Sr. Operational Change Manager to support Cyber Security operational processes. This role is crucial in ensuring effective communication and coordination of changes within the organization. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Project Manager and participate in government project meetings to facilitate the change management process. The primary objective is to create and operate an effective change management process that ensures all changes are well-documented, issues related to changes are quickly understood, and disruptions to mission-critical functions are minimized. The Sr. Operational Change Manager will be responsible for presenting change-related information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. This includes driving continuous improvement in change management practices and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned with organizational goals. The role requires strong organizational and communication skills to effectively liaise with various stakeholders and facilitate change management activities. This position is contingent on contract award, and the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the organization’s mission by managing operational changes effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Support IOD in effectively communicating and coordinating changes.
  • Collaborate extensively with the Senior Project Manager and participate in government project meetings.
  • Create and operate an effective change management process to ensure changes are known and issues are traceable.
  • Plan and orchestrate changes to minimize impact on mission-critical functions.
  • Present change-related information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Drive continuous improvement in change management practices.

Requirements

  • 5+ years demonstrated experience in operational change management.
  • Strong understanding of assessing changes and their production impacts.
  • Experience in supporting communications to affected stakeholders.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to facilitate change management activities and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
