About the position

The Sr. Operations Analyst in FP&A at Brookfield Properties is responsible for conducting comprehensive financial analysis and reporting related to quarterly reforecasts and business plans. This role involves collaboration with various FP&A personnel and key stakeholders across the organization to ensure accurate and timely completion of financial tasks. The analyst will manage complex financial models, coordinate with sector teams, and support special projects while also mentoring junior analysts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned portions of the overall property level cash return model, including data input and scenario analysis.
• Enter data and validate projections in the system of record, and run financial reports for department heads and executive customers.
• Prepare assigned sections of the quarterly valuation file and assist in the preparation of quarterly valuation presentation materials.
• Serve as a liaison with outside brokers to provide requested appraisal information for properties.

Requirements

• Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Analysis and Accounting Principles.
