About the position

The Operations Senior Analyst at Brookfield Properties is responsible for conducting financial analysis and reporting related to quarterly reforecasts and the Business Plan. This role involves collaboration with FP&A personnel and key customers to ensure accurate and timely completion of complex financial analyses for the Forest City and Sports & Entertainment portfolios. The analyst will also support the Director/Manager with special projects and develop operations analysts within the group.

Responsibilities

• Maintain assigned portions of the overall property level cash return model, including data input and scenario analysis.
• Enter data and validate projections in the system of record, running financial reports for department heads and executive customers.
• Prepare assigned sections of the quarterly valuation file and assist in the preparation of quarterly valuation presentation materials.
• Serve as a liaison with outside brokers to provide requested appraisal information for properties on a quarterly basis.

Requirements

• Undergraduate (Bachelor) Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in Financial Analysis and Accounting Principles.
