About the position

The Sr. Operations Analyst at Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) plays a crucial role in providing analytical support to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) align with the company's strategy and forecasts. This position is integral to supporting critical business operations by bridging safety, quality, and operational performance to meet and exceed objectives. The analyst will develop KPIs, analyze financial and operational metrics, and collaborate with various teams to drive continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the creation of KPIs and a metrics dashboard to drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide clear and consistent analysis of financial and operational metrics to highlight trends, performance, opportunities, and risks.
  • Support operations leadership with business analysis to inform data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with Operations and other functional areas to align KPIs with strategy and forecasts.
  • Deliver KPI goals and updates, explaining and resolving issues with data tracking.
  • Facilitate management reviews using presentations to support continuous improvement projects and identify operational inhibitors.
  • Support strategic project schedules by coordinating with cross-functional teams and tracking deliverables.
  • Develop, automate, and maintain reporting tools and databases to provide insights into daily operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred; equivalent combination of education and experience accepted.
  • Four to ten years of operations experience in the alcoholic beverage industry.
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), and Warehouse Control Systems (WCS).
  • Experience with Data Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).

  • Previous experience in the Wine and Spirits industry.
