About the position

As a Sr. Operations Coordinator at KBR, you will play a crucial role in coordinating complex operational tasks that support the organization's objectives. This position requires you to monitor operational performance and prepare detailed reports for senior management, ensuring that all activities align with the company's strategic goals. You will be responsible for developing operational strategies and plans aimed at improving efficiency and effectiveness across various departments. Your role will also involve liaising with department heads to ensure cohesive business operations, which is essential for maintaining a smooth workflow and achieving organizational success. In addition to these responsibilities, you will maintain quality control by implementing and upholding quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed established standards. Effective communication is key in this role; you will facilitate team communication to ensure that all team members and project stakeholders are informed and aligned on project goals and updates. This position may also require you to perform various clean-up activities and maintain tools and equipment, ensuring that the work environment is safe and organized. You will be expected to adhere to all safety rules and procedures, including the use of required personal safety equipment, and may be required to perform moderate to heavy lifting as part of your daily tasks. This role is located in San Antonio, TX, and is expected to be onsite 100%.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate complex operational tasks to support organizational objectives.
  • Monitor operational performance and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Develop operational strategies and plans to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Liaise with department heads to ensure cohesive business operations.
  • Maintain Quality Control: Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure that all installations and repairs meet or exceed the set standards.
  • Facilitate Team Communication: Ensure clear and consistent communication within the team and with other project stakeholders to keep everyone informed and aligned on project goals and updates.
  • Perform various clean-up activities and maintain tools and equipment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven experience in an operations role with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • High School Diploma or GED: Required as a basic educational foundation.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision and attention to detail to ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with safety standards.
  • Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing conditions, technologies, and requirements.
  • Decision-Making Ability: Strong decision-making skills to resolve issues quickly and effectively under pressure.
  • This position requires a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. A Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) U.S. Security Clearance with a Polygraph is required to start.
