About the position

The Sr. Ops Engineer Deployment & Ramp role within the Mechatronics & Sustainable Packaging Customer Experience organization focuses on overseeing the deployment of MSP solutions across various sites. This position is crucial for ensuring the successful installation, commissioning, and performance ramp-up of products, while also driving continuous improvement in deployment processes. The role emphasizes customer satisfaction and requires collaboration with multiple teams to align on project goals and execution strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the development of project plans and technical solutions, including problem statements and resource requirements.
  • Influence decisions on deployment and machine performance execution strategy to senior leadership.
  • Own tactical planning for the installation of complex cross-functional projects, managing contractors and vendors.
  • Define deployment plans and continuous improvement goals, setting standards and driving efficiencies in execution and performance.
  • Communicate program execution and performance to stakeholders, consolidating inputs from various internal teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience managing multiple large projects.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong technical background in automated or non-automated material handling equipment.
  • Experience managing project portfolios, budgets, and decentralized resources.
  • Ability to travel frequently, up to 75% domestically and occasionally internationally.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and applications.
  • Experience using CAD software (AutoCAD, REVIT, BIM 360, etc.).
  • Experience with procurement of equipment.
  • Experience in Robotics, Automation, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or warehouse environments.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams/projects.
  • Knowledge of project management tools (PPM, Clarity, MPP, or Jira).

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field.
  • Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and other operations engineering tools.
  • 3 years leading ARS Fulfillment Outbound Operations.
