About the position

The Sr. Oracle Cloud Risk Project/Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of Oracle Cloud Risk Management as part of a strategic project. This role involves managing key stakeholders, resources, and project schedules while ensuring adherence to quality and control guidelines. The manager will handle issues, risks, and change requests to ensure successful project delivery, contribute to process improvements, and collaborate with other project managers to align overall project goals.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the implementation of Oracle Security, Controls Integration, and Risk Management Cloud.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders during the initial phase focused on specific business units.
  • Steer internal teams and implementation partners to ensure delivery of defined project deliverables.
  • Engage and support third-party services as needed to achieve project goals.
  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks and issues related to the project.
  • Analyze and improve business processes in collaboration with Global Key Users and Business Leaders.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to team members to meet project goals and milestones.
  • Define resource requirements and manage resource availability and allocation.
  • Escalate issues within program/operational leadership teams to ensure continuity of delivery.
  • Oversee the full project life cycle from initiation to deployment for the RMC SaaS solution.
  • Define and report on project success criteria, metrics, and management activities throughout the project life cycle.
  • Manage day-to-day project activities and resources within RMC; chair the RMC Operating Committee according to Project Governance.
  • Develop and manage all aspects of project engagement including planning, vendor relationships, communications, resources, budget, and risks.
  • Deliver progress reports, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas.

Requirements

  • Knowledge and experience of project management methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge in implementing standard/out-of-the-box SaaS solutions.
  • Hands-on leadership and motivational skills to lead mixed teams of business and IT resources.
  • Technical competence with software programs including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and SaaS PM tools like JIRA and SmartSheet.
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with technical and non-technical staff.
  • Self-motivated and able to adapt to change and competing demands.
  • Experience in drafting and submitting budget proposals and recommending changes.
  • Proven success in leading projects to close on-time and within budget.
