About the position

The Senior Oracle CPQ Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering requirements, managing product content and data, and designing solutions for product configuration in the CPQ domain. This role involves collaborating with business stakeholders, product managers, and developers to ensure high-quality CPQ solutions are delivered. The analyst will also mentor junior team members and work closely with the technical lead to enhance team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document requirements for CPQ solutions.
• Manage product content and data related to CPQ tools.
• Conduct feasibility studies and brainstorm solutions with stakeholders.
• Design and build product configuration solutions for CPQ.
• Test CPQ solutions across various client equipment.
• Mentor junior team members and support their development.
• Evaluate and improve functional requirement documents (FRDs).
• Interact with stakeholders to adjust implementation scope as needed.
• Provide timely responses and high-quality solutions for CPQ tools.
• Monitor product-related issues and ensure resolution by product engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in technology, engineering, or business analysis.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with CPQ tools in Control Valves/Pumps/Seals domain.
• Experience in product selection, configuration, and pricing.
• Ability to analyze business processes and develop supporting systems.
• Excellent understanding of efficient business processes within the CPQ domain.
• Exposure to Oracle CPQ, Salesforce CPQ, or similar technologies.
• Preferred experience in sizing/configuring mechanical products.
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience in mentoring and sharing knowledge with junior colleagues.

Nice-to-haves

• 2-3 years of experience as application support personnel or CPQ tool tester.
• 1-2 years of experience with development/coding of sizing & selection software.
• Awareness of Excel VBA programming.
• Experience with automated API tool testing projects.
