About the position

The Senior Manager Oracle DBA will oversee the management and maintenance of Oracle EBS and ERP Cloud systems, ensuring high availability and performance. This role involves executing upgrade cycles, improving processes for cutover downtime reduction, and supporting development teams with custom coding and migrations. The position requires extensive experience in Oracle applications architecture and database administration, along with strong leadership skills to manage DBA staff across different locations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production uptime service levels are maintained according to requirements.
• Execute upgrade cycles and manage cutover downtime reduction through process improvements.
• Oversee backup, recovery, refresh, performance tuning, and security of Oracle EBS and ERP Cloud systems.
• Design and implement disaster recovery plans.
• Support Oracle Cloud and EBS developers with custom coding, code migration, and workflow management.
• Provide day-to-day status and maintenance for Oracle EBS and ERP Cloud.
• Collaborate with multiple application teams and developers.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience with Oracle EBS (11i/R12).
• Minimum of five (5) years in ERP Cloud platform.
• 20+ years of experience as an Oracle ERP Applications DBA.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
• Hands-on experience with RMAN, backup management, and various recovery techniques.
• Excellent knowledge of cloning, patching, backup recovery of ERP applications.
• Experience with ODI, FAW/ADW, performance tuning, and SQL profiling.
• Unix Shell scripting skills on Oracle ODA's and OVM's.
