About the position

TEKsystems is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Administrator to join a project team focused on migrating databases from Dell Titanium to a Linux environment within an SAP framework. The role involves working in an Agile setting, participating in daily stand-ups, and engaging in various migration tasks using tools like Golden Gate, while also performing troubleshooting and requirement analysis with technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Migrate databases from Dell Titanium to Linux in an SAP environment.
• Utilize Golden Gate for data migration tasks.
• Create database clusters and perform shell scripting.
• Troubleshoot database issues and perform requirement analysis with technical teams.
• Participate in daily stand-ups and Agile project meetings.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Database Administrator, specifically with Oracle databases.
• Strong knowledge of Golden Gate for data migration.
• Experience with Linux operating systems.
• Familiarity with database management and Data Guard.
