About the position

The Sr Oracle Database Developer role is focused on developing and maintaining PL/SQL code, performing data analysis, and supporting backend applications. The position requires strong communication skills to interact with both business users and developers, and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desired. The developer will also be responsible for building interfaces between business applications and ensuring data integration across systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL code for data conversion and system enhancements.
• Perform data analysis and develop requirements and data models.
• Support application backend processes and build interfaces between business applications.
• Communicate effectively with business users and developers to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Work within Agile/Scrum processes to deliver projects.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Development.
• 10 years of written and oral communication skills.
• 8 years of background in data integration between business systems.
• 8 years of experience writing and maintaining PL/SQL code for data sets and reports production.
• 6 years of experience in requirements analysis and data modeling.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 years of experience with data integration tools and techniques including IBM Datastage, web services, and messaging.
• Experience with modern data warehousing techniques.
