About the position

The Sr Oracle Database Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining PL/SQL code, performing data analysis, and supporting application backend processes. This role requires strong communication skills to collaborate with business users and developers, and experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies is highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain PL/SQL code for data processing and system enhancements.
• Perform data analysis and develop requirements and data models.
• Support application backend processes and build interfaces between business applications.
• Communicate effectively with business users and developers to gather requirements and provide updates.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes to ensure timely delivery of projects.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience working with Oracle PL/SQL and SQL Server Database Development.
• 10 years of written and oral communication experience.
• 8 years of background in data integration between business systems.
• 8 years of experience writing and maintaining PL/SQL code for data conversion, system enhancements, and report production.
• 6 years of experience in requirements analysis and data modeling.

Nice-to-haves

• 6 years of experience with other data integration tools and techniques including IBM Datastage, web services, messaging, and modern data warehousing.
