Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Sr. Oracle Database Developer, OLVIMS Operational DBA with a Secret clearance to support KMS and our government customer in Montgomery, AL. This position is critical in ensuring the smooth operation and management of Oracle databases within the OLVIMS framework. The successful candidate will serve as the primary Oracle Database Developer and Administrator, providing essential production database support for the OLVIMS AWS RDS Oracle database. This includes monitoring, patching, upgrading, and analyzing performance to ensure optimal database functionality. In this role, the candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, and deploying PL/SQL code and database objects in an Agile environment. The position requires performing database administration tasks for both LINUX-hosted and Cloud One AWS RDS Oracle databases utilized for production, test, and development purposes. Maintaining data integrity through data analysis and cleanup is a key responsibility, along with providing ad hoc reporting and export/import services. The candidate will also develop external data interfaces for the Department of Defense's BLADE project and assist application developers with SQL issues, tuning, and object design. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with other Oracle DBAs and developers to support sustainment activities for the CMOS databases as needed. A Secret clearance is required for this position, reflecting the sensitive nature of the work and the need for secure handling of government data.
