About the position
Cognizant is seeking a Sr. Oracle Retail Project Manager to join our team in Dallas, TX. This role is an individual contributor external facing position that requires expertise in both technical and functional Oracle Retail Applications, specifically versions 13x to 16x or above. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with AutoSys - CA, Unix, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, ODI Administration, and ODI. The role involves attending and contributing to regular project team meetings, delivering high-quality technical deliverables, and assisting with work estimation and preliminary requirement analysis. The candidate will work within a team structure to meet established deliverable dates and report to onsite/offshore leads/project managers.
Responsibilities
- Provide expertise in Oracle Retail Applications and ensure high-quality development of technical deliverables.
- Attend and contribute to project team meetings, providing progress updates.
- Work in accordance with defect and issue tracking procedures to manage tasks and track progress.
- Assist with work estimation and preliminary requirement analysis.
- Collaborate with onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- 12-16 years of experience in Oracle Retail Development, Enhancement, and Production Support.
- Strong understanding of Retail - Merchandising System and ability to conduct detailed gap analysis.
- Experience in creating functional designs and owning business process flows for clients.
- Proficiency in AutoSys - CA, Unix, Oracle SQL, Oracle PL/SQL, ODI Administration, and ODI.
