About the position

The Sr. Oracle SOA Consultant is responsible for leading and providing critical support for SOA architecture, governance, and implementation within a smaller team. This role requires extensive experience in system design, integration, and production support, particularly with Oracle technologies. The consultant will troubleshoot issues, clarify processes with business users, and may also involve some administration tasks related to Linux scripting.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SOA architecture, governance, and implementation efforts.
• Provide critical support for production environments and troubleshoot issues related to data or systems.
• Clarify processes with business users and ensure smooth operation of the production support environment.
• Utilize Oracle BPEL, XML, XSLT, and Java for performance tuning and monitoring.
• Work with Oracle Service Bus and Oracle RDBMS for integration tasks.
• Engage in business process analysis and detailed functional design.
• Support point-to-point integration and batch processes using SOA.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in System Design and Design Methodologies and Tools.
• At least 3 years of experience with SOA support.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience with Oracle BPEL, XML, XSLT, XSDs, and Java performance tuning and monitoring.
• At least 3 years of experience in J2EE, including WebLogic and Web Services.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience with SOA architecture, governance, adoption, and implementation.
• Experience with Oracle Service Bus (or Oracle ESB) and Oracle RDBMS.
• Strong background in business process analysis, system requirements, data modeling, and functional design.
• Expert knowledge in integration and interfaces to other systems.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Oracle Business Intelligence (OBIEE) and EBS Analytics.
• Experience with Single Sign On (Oracle Identity Governance Suite and/or Oracle Access Management Suite Plus).
• Ability to build dashboards related to SOA activity.
