About the position

The Sr Litigation Paralegal will support family law and civil litigation matters within a law firm in Franklin, TN. This permanent full-time position involves managing cases, drafting legal documents, maintaining client relations, and preparing for trials. The role requires proficiency in case management and familiarity with Clio software.

Responsibilities

• Manage and organize family law and civil litigation cases.
• Draft legal documents and correspondences related to family law and civil litigation cases.
• Foster and maintain strong relations with clients, ensuring their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
• Prepare for trials by organizing exhibits, assisting with legal research, and coordinating with other legal professionals.
• Utilize Clio, a legal practice management software, to manage case details, documents, and billings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis related to family law and civil litigation cases.
• Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations during case management.
• Assist in the development of case strategies and legal arguments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge in the field of family law and civil litigation.
• Collaborate with a team of legal professionals to ensure the seamless execution of legal proceedings.

Requirements

• 5-15+ years of related Paralegal experience
• Proficiency in Family Law and Civil Litigation is required
• Experience with Clio or similar legal case management software is a plus
• Litigation Paralegal skills including preparing legal documents, conducting legal research, and managing case files
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Must possess a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality
• Knowledge of legal terminology and principles
• Ability to analyze legal documents and identify issues.
