About the position

The Senior Partner Sales Manager at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for driving revenue growth through engagement with AWS Consulting and Technology Partners. This role involves creating customer value by aligning partner capabilities with customer needs, managing relationships between partners and sales teams, and executing strategies to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute strategies to achieve Partner and Sales organization goals.
  • Establish business and technical relationships with Partners, Sales teams, and Customers.
  • Manage day-to-day interactions between organizations to create opportunities that deliver value to AWS Customers.
  • Advise Sales teams and engage with customers to drive the value of Partner engagement.
  • Manage Partner engagement in AWS accounts to expand existing AWS footprint and originate new Customer engagements.
  • Develop and execute joint Partner/Sales strategy and own opportunity execution with Partners.
  • Work with Partner Solution Architects and Partner Development Managers on effective engagement with managed Partners.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of field sales experience combined with partner engagement experience with a software, cloud, or technology vendor.
  • 7+ years of experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
