About the position

The Sr Payroll & Benefits Administrator at SpringWorks Therapeutics plays a crucial role in the People & Organization team, reporting directly to the Director of HR Operations & Total Rewards. This position is responsible for overseeing payroll, benefits administration, leave management, invoicing, and reconciliation, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining employee satisfaction. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, contributing to the overall efficiency and accuracy of payroll and benefits processes.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the payroll expert, making recommendations for payroll-related policies and providing training to ensure compliance.
  • Process bi-weekly payroll accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Audit and process payroll documents, including new hires and changes in employee data.
  • Manage employee Time & Attendance data, reconciling variances and approving time in the system.
  • Maintain employee files with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
  • Track and maintain records of PTO usage and accruals.
  • Develop a deep understanding of payroll software and HRIS, creating reports as needed.
  • Assist employees with online portal access and registration issues.
  • Handle month-end duties, including approving HR-related invoices and payroll accrual submissions.
  • Administer all employee and volunteer benefit programs, ensuring accurate enrollments and eligibility information.
  • Process leave-of-absence requests and disability paperwork, interpreting FMLA and ADA implications.
  • Ensure compliance with COBRA law and manage the continuation of employee benefits.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree in a related field preferred.
  • 12+ years of experience in payroll or benefits administration.
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver quality work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with self-funded benefits.
  • Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and efficiency in work processes.
  • Ability to work East Coast hours and travel occasionally as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a commercial-stage biopharmaceutical company.
  • Knowledge of payroll systems and benefits regulations.
