We are seeking a Senior Payroll Systems Analyst who will play a crucial role in supporting our payroll team by ensuring the functionality and integration of our payroll systems for accurate calculations, processing, and reporting. This position is ideal for someone who is deeply familiar with payroll systems and their integrations, particularly with ADP. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing technical business requirement documents, troubleshooting integrations, and testing solutions to ensure seamless operations. In this role, you will collaborate with both internal and external partners to gather requirements, resolve defects, recommend enhancements, and conduct user acceptance testing. You will lead and support various projects, including system upgrades, integrations, benefits initiatives, and year-end processes. Additionally, you will be instrumental in supporting a new payroll system implementation project, which involves collecting and creating business requirements, managing changes, performing testing, and conducting system audits. The Senior Payroll Business Analyst must possess a strong understanding of payroll and timekeeping systems, along with a foundational knowledge of payroll, benefits, time and labor, payroll tax, and auditing functions. This position is pivotal in ensuring that our payroll processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with our organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Research system issues for payroll as the first point of escalation.
  • Lead research and testing for payroll configurations and changes, enhancements, and special projects, including implementing audits and controls.
  • Support tax reporting, year-end, W-2 processing and multi-state reporting.
  • Work closely with implementation team to integrate new Payroll System for US payroll.
  • Collaborate with Payroll team in change management activities including making recommendations, and system training relative to system modifications and/or enhancements.
  • Create and update documentation for payroll system related processes and procedures.
  • Lead various projects for process improvement or new endeavors which may include outside vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business or Human Resources or equivalent experience required.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR Technology, Payroll or Time & Labor systems role.
  • Experience with payroll system implementation is a plus.
  • CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) is a plus.
