About the position

The Senior Physician Onboarding Specialist is responsible for managing the onboarding process for new physicians within the Medical Group at Endeavor Health. This role emphasizes high-quality communication, collaboration with leadership, and the execution of onboarding workflows to ensure a positive experience for new hires. The specialist will work independently and as part of a team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the onboarding program.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the physician onboarding function for all new Medical Group and resource physicians with minimal oversight.
  • Communicate with new physicians using high customer service and empathic communication.
  • Execute the offer and contract process, serving as a liaison between Medical Group leadership, Professional Staff Office, and Physician Contracts team.
  • Follow established workflows to deliver an exceptional new hire experience and identify or modify processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with Medical Group leaders and demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills to ensure policies are followed without compromising candidate experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Care Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build partnerships with physicians, administrative leaders, and external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Collaborative approach to completing work assignments and seeking assistance when needed.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, and manage a diverse workload with changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Strong critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Experience using HR management systems and applicant tracking systems.
