About the position

The Senior Physician Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in the onboarding process for new physicians within the Endeavor Health system. This position is responsible for managing the entire onboarding function for all new Medical Group and resource physicians with minimal oversight. The specialist will communicate with new physicians, ensuring a high level of customer service and empathetic communication throughout the onboarding process. This includes executing the offer and contract process and serving as a liaison between Medical Group leadership, the Professional Staff Office, and the Physician Contracts team. In addition to these responsibilities, the Senior Physician Onboarding Specialist will follow established workflows to deliver an exceptional new hire experience. They will also be tasked with identifying or modifying processes to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the onboarding program. Establishing collaborative partnerships with Medical Group leaders is essential, as is demonstrating strong conflict resolution skills to ensure that policies are adhered to without compromising the candidate experience or engagement. This role requires a proactive approach to managing the onboarding process, with a focus on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for new physicians. The specialist will need to be comfortable with shifting priorities based on business needs and will be expected to manage a diverse workload with changing deadlines and priorities. Overall, the Senior Physician Onboarding Specialist is a key player in ensuring that new physicians are successfully integrated into the Endeavor Health system, contributing to the organization's mission of providing quality, community-connected healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute the physician onboarding function for all new Medical Group and resource physicians with minimal oversight.
  • Communicate with new physicians with high customer service and empathic communications.
  • Execute the offer and contract process, serving as the partner between Medical Group leadership, Professional Staff Office, and Physician Contracts team.
  • Follow established workflows to deliver an exceptional new hire experience; identify or modify processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness of the program.
  • Establish collaborative partnerships with Medical Group leaders; demonstrate strong conflict resolution skills to ensure policies are followed without compromising candidate experience or engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required in Business Administration, Human Resources, Health Care Administration, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills that enable the ability to build partnerships with physicians, administrative leaders, and external vendors.
  • Ability to work independently, take direction, and also work as a team player.
  • Collaborative approach to completing work assignments and asking for assistance to accomplish priorities.
  • Ability to organize, multitask, and quickly manage a large and diverse workload with changing deadlines and priorities.
  • Comfortable with shifting priorities based upon business need.
  • Strong critical thinker.
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe.
  • Experience using HR management systems and applicant tracking systems.
