About the position

As a Senior Pilot at SNC, you will leverage your extensive flying experience to operate advanced aircraft in challenging environments, supporting critical missions such as casualty evacuation, maritime patrol, and special mission training. This role is integral to the ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area, which is recognized for its innovative solutions and high-performance aviation systems. You will be part of a team that tailors solutions to meet customer needs while maintaining a strong commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Operate advanced aircraft in various challenging operational environments.
• Conduct casualty evacuation and maritime patrol missions.
• Perform experimental test flights and special mission training.
• Support fighter aircraft training and other missions for national defense.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols during all flights.

Requirements

• Typically 10 or more years of relevant experience in aviation.
• Commercial Pilot Certificate with single or multi-engine and instrument rating without limitations.
• FAA issued Second Class Medical Certificate.
• Ability to pass a FAA/Military Pilot Background Check and mandatory drug and alcohol screen.
• A minimum of 1500 hours total fixed-wing as pilot-in-command (PIC) time in a multi-engine turbo prop aircraft, jet aircraft or combination thereof in aircraft with GTOW 12,500 or greater.
• Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command pandemic restriction requirements for deployed locations.
• Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to various OCONUS operating locations.
• Active Current Secret U.S. Security Clearance.

Nice-to-haves

• FAA Issued Airline Transport Pilot Certificate.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field of study.
• Recent mission completion and/or prior service US Military survival and/or physiological training.
• 2000 hours total fixed-wing time as pilot-in-command (PIC) or second-in-command (SIC) in a multi-engine turbo-prop aircraft, jet aircraft or combination thereof with GTOW 12,500 or greater.
• Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry, the US Department of Defense, NASA or US Military.
