About the position

The Sr. Planner, Demand Planning role is a temporary position focused on leveraging data analysis and trend identification to drive impactful decisions across various functions including Supply Chain, Finance, Sales, and Merchandising. The position involves leading demand forecast meetings, providing recommendations for style and color forecasts, and developing specialized reports to support business improvements and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate monthly demand forecast meetings with cross-functional teams, reaching consensus on forecasts and securing capacities.
• Provide recommendations and analyses for style and color forecasts, working closely with Sales, Merchandising, and Sourcing teams.
• Track and enhance business improvements across shipping, inventory, SKU efficiency, systems, and processes.
• Develop and present specialized reports, including 3-year plans and monthly demand analysis for key product lines.
• Act as a mentor, supporting team training, leading special projects, and driving process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of related experience in demand planning or a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proficiency in data analysis, with advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP, IBM Cognos, or similar tools a plus.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• IBF Certification is a bonus.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in category analysis (5 years preferred).
• Experience in brand/market analysis (2 years preferred).
