About the position

The Sr Planview Application Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Planview application by managing service tickets, enhancements, and configurations. This position is not a project management role but focuses on assisting the team with the implementation and enhancement of the application, ensuring alignment with business needs and operational workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the estimation of enhancement or support requests.
  • Guide workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues.
  • Liaise with business systems stakeholders and software vendor's implementation staff, ensuring alignment of business needs with delivery of systems changes.
  • Develop an understanding of operational needs to set the direction for the organization's workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements.
  • Participate in training and work with end users.
  • Troubleshoot problems and questions.
  • Provide end-user support for issues entered into tracking systems.
  • Review the status of projects and issues with project leadership.
  • Provide mentorship for other peers and leadership to solve problems, even if it's outside of their normal responsibilities/scope.
  • Be a leader on internal process design and documentation to drive continuous improvement for the IT department or team.
  • Ability to work within normal business hours, as well as on-call, with potential for nights and weekends.

  • Ability to operate telephone system and computer keyboard and printer.
  • Ability to work in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in enterprise application support.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience with Planview PPM, ServiceNow, Monday.com, and Smart Sheets.
