The Sr. Platform Engineer role focuses on enhancing automation, continuous delivery, and monitoring within the software development lifecycle. This position requires expertise in various cloud services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices, with a strong emphasis on containerization and orchestration technologies. Responsibilities

• Automation, continuous delivery, monitoring and alerting.
• Utilizing CI tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and AzureDevOps.
• Working with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Azure, and Heroku.
• Implementing infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Cloud Formation.
• Applying DevOps tools, practices, and philosophies.
• Building containers via Dockerfile and Docker Compose.
• Managing container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker Swarm, and Rancher.
• Using version control systems such as Git and Mercurial.
• Employing configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or SaltStack.
• Utilizing build tools such as Gradle, Ant, and Maven.
• Implementing service discovery tools such as Consul, etcd, and ZooKeeper.
• Using log aggregation tools such as Splunk, ELK stack, SumoLogic, and DataDog.
• Applying Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, InfluxDB, and Nagios.
• Scripting in Linux scripting languages.
• Working with Linux-based operating systems such as Ubuntu and CentOS.
