About the position

The Sr Plumber at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and medical gas systems within the facility. This role ensures the proper functioning of essential plumbing and fire systems, contributing to the overall safety and efficiency of the hospital's operations.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs plumbing systems and medical gas systems.
• Tests fire systems valves, tamper switches, fire pumps, and dry deluge fire systems.
• Assists in the operation and general maintenance of all essential repairs related to the facility.
• Repairs and maintains domestic water pumps, water piping lines, water filters, and plumbing fixtures.
• Maintains the piping and supply of cylinder and bulk medical gas systems.
• Troubleshoots, tests, and repairs plumbing, mechanical machinery, equipment, systems, and piping as scheduled or needed under limited supervision.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Drivers License
• Journeyman License
