About the position

The Sr. PM Project Manager/Technical Analyst will work within the IT Project Management Office (PMO) to provide project management and technical analyst services for a joint agency project with the Mississippi Division of Medicaid (MDOM). This role involves leading multiple project phases, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while assisting with agency modernization initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide project management and technical analyst services in support of a joint agency project with MDOM.
  • Assist with client agency modernization initiatives in compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Organize and track multiple project phases with various vendors and stakeholders.
  • Provide intra-agency project leadership to achieve defined implementation goals.
  • Operate as a technical analyst, guiding vendor teams and clarifying client requirements.
  • Coordinate state team briefings, status reports, and strategic planning sessions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five (5) years experience leading medium and large-scale health and human service projects.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience as a management resource on joint state agency projects.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience on multi-vendor, multi-module, multi-phase integration projects.
  • Minimum of three (3) years experience acting as a technical analyst interfacing between state and vendor staff.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience writing and scoring Mississippi procurement proposals.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience developing or reporting from a Microsoft Project schedule.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience writing requirements and developing design documentation.
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience acting as a technical analyst for the state and vendor.
  • Experience integrating identity index, fraud detection, and human services benefit applications into existing infrastructures.
  • Strong knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working within an agile team environment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Strong verbal and written skills to discuss technical topics with diverse audiences.
  • Experience writing reports, design documents, requirements, test cases, test plans, and test results.
  • Provide a summary of qualifications and references for verification.
