About the position

The Senior Power BI Developer will play a crucial role in transforming raw data into actionable insights that drive data-driven decision-making across the organization. This position involves close collaboration with senior management and stakeholders to design effective business intelligence solutions using Power BI and Power Apps expertise.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management and stakeholders to translate business questions into metrics and KPIs on dashboards and reports.
• Promote a data-driven culture by educating teams on data usage and BI tools.
• Share data findings clearly, translating technical terms into business language.
• Advocate for best practices in Power BI, AWS, and data analytics.
• Create visually appealing and user-friendly dashboards and reports with Power BI.
• Automate business processes and streamline operations using Power Apps.
• Establish seamless data connections between Power BI and Power Apps to deliver insights.
• Design mobile and desktop interfaces that enhance user adoption.
• Analyze data in various environments to identify trends and anomalies.
• Develop pipelines to extract and analyze data from diverse sources.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to maintain data documentation and reporting standards.
• Implement data governance policies and ensure data quality and security.
• Create and maintain documentation for BI solutions, including technical specifications and user guides.

Requirements

• 5+ years delivering Microsoft Power BI solutions, including experience with Azure Synapse and data lakes.
• Proficiency in DAX, MDX, and Power BI visualizations.
• Advanced DAX skills.
• M-Language skills.
• Knowledge of Power BI connecting to AWS.
• Experience with PowerApps, Power Automate, and Microsoft SQL Server tools.
• Familiarity with data modeling, data storytelling, and complex reporting.
• Agile delivery experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication.
