About the position

The Sr. Analyst/Specialist, Pricing is responsible for the analysis, sales, and pricing of a diverse portfolio of products. This role focuses on developing reliable reporting and analysis to understand trends and metrics that drive planning, pricing, and sales activities. The analyst will proactively review reports to identify inconsistencies with existing plans and implement necessary actions, including price adjustments and incentive strategies. Additionally, the position involves researching and developing competitive banking products to maximize profits while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

  • Develop consistent and reliable reporting and analysis to understand and communicate trends, metrics, and indices.
  • Proactively review reports to identify trends inconsistent with existing plans and take appropriate actions.
  • Research, develop, and implement competitive banking products and services for various markets.
  • Translate technological advances and consumer needs into marketable products.
  • Plan, direct, and facilitate all phases of the product life cycle from inception to market introduction.
  • Ensure products meet regulatory and industry standards.
  • Perform pricing research and analysis using various methods.
  • Develop and implement action plans based on multi-organizational reviews of key metrics and root causes for trends.
  • Collaborate in defining pricing rules/policies and monitor corporate pricing.
  • Evaluate, police, and educate others on pricing policies and rules.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in statistics or data analytics within the banking or financial services industry.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • Master's Degree in a STEM-related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in SQL and SAS required; experience with Python preferred.
  • Overall proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to implement procedures and guidelines.
  • Rigorous focus on results.
