About the position

The Sr. Principal Architect of Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning is responsible for managing, designing, developing, and deploying scalable AI and ML solutions to drive digital transformation and innovation across various business functions. This senior-level role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to architect impactful solutions, manage AI/ML operations, and provide technical guidance to stakeholders. The position emphasizes the importance of best practices in AI/ML engineering and aims to optimize processes for identified opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and processes to translate them into AI/ML solutions.
• Design and implement end-to-end AI/ML pipelines, including data ingestion, model development, and deployment.
• Apply best practices for AI/ML engineering, including code quality and continuous integration.
• Select and utilize appropriate AI/ML frameworks and tools such as TensorFlow and Azure.
• Research and evaluate the latest AI/ML techniques and algorithms for business problem-solving.
• Design and document solution architecture, focusing on integration, security, and performance.
• Ensure solutions are developed according to design specifications and quality standards.
• Review and approve detailed solution design artifacts.
• Test and validate solutions to meet quality expectations.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to the development team.
• Collaborate with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to define AI/ML objectives.
• Manage the AI/ML operations team to ensure solution quality and reliability.
• Establish and enforce best practices for AI/ML development and deployment.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of AI/ML solutions and provide improvement recommendations.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to Digital Partners and technology leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in AI/ML engineering or related roles.
• Proficient in AI/ML programming languages.
• Strong knowledge of AI/ML concepts such as supervised and unsupervised learning, deep learning, etc.
• Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with large datasets using SQL, NoSQL, or big data technologies.
• Experience in managing AI/ML pipelines and workflows.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Experience applying DevOps principles to AI/ML engineering.
• Ability to work in a global and matrixed environment.

• Certification in AI/ML solutions & architecture or related fields.
