We are currently seeking a Sr. Principal Systems Engineer - Solutions Architect to join our Front End of the Business team in Aurora, CO. This role is crucial as it involves developing architectures from existing capabilities tailored to meet emerging customer needs. The successful candidate will engage in multiple business pursuits, contributing to our growth strategy and supporting capture and proposal efforts. In this position, you will be responsible for creating model-based systems engineering architectural artifacts that represent our capabilities in a solution that aligns with customer pursuits. You will establish and manage a product vision, strategy, and goals to ensure our capabilities meet customer requirements. Additionally, you will identify project, enterprise, and technology needs that influence the definition of the appropriate lifecycle model, using these insights to inform decision-making. This role requires a proactive approach to developing program growth strategies and supporting various business initiatives. This is an onsite role at our Aurora, CO campus, and candidates should expect up to 10% travel as part of their responsibilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in systems engineering, particularly in Agile and DevOps environments, and have experience in Satellite Command & Control, Mission Management, or Flight Dynamics domains. An active and transferable DOD TS/SCI clearance is required prior to the start date, along with U.S. citizenship, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

  • Creating model-based systems engineering architectural artifacts that represent our capabilities in a solution aligned with customer pursuits.
  • Establishing and managing a product vision, strategy, and goals to align capabilities with customer needs.
  • Identifying project, enterprise, and technology needs affecting the definition of the appropriate lifecycle model and using these in decision-making.
  • Developing program growth strategies and supporting capture/proposal efforts.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Technology, Engineering, or a related Technical field with a minimum of 10+ years of relevant or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
  • Experience in Satellite Command & Control, Mission Management, or Flight Dynamics domains.
  • Active and transferable DOD TS/SCI clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain SAP.
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
