As a Senior Process Engineer at Mondelēz International, you will play a pivotal leadership role in enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our manufacturing lines. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze and address the loss of intelligence on the production line, driving improvements that align with our business objectives. You will collaborate closely with various functions, including operations, maintenance, Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE), and Quality, to implement necessary process, product, and technology changes. This role is essential in ensuring that we meet our Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Sustainability, and Morale (SQCDSM) targets, which are critical for maintaining process stability and operational excellence. In this position, you will partner with line leaders to facilitate the achievement of SQCDSM targets. You will actively participate in Daily Management Systems (DMS) meetings at both the shift and line levels, providing valuable insights into loss intelligence for your assigned line. Your expertise will help clarify the main losses by machine, identify failure modes, and determine immediate causes. You will be expected to master the operating units of the line, including baking technology and product/packaging quality requirements, and drive teams to implement improvement projects through the utilization of kaizen methodologies. You will also take ownership of the technology and process settings for the equipment, ensuring that you possess deep technical mastery of both the process and the equipment involved. This includes managing the Progressive Maintenance systems and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for your line, as well as overseeing the Repairs & Maintenance budget. Additionally, you will assist in Value Stream Updates (VSU) for new initiatives and support the VSU team in benchmarking and reapplication efforts. As a subject matter expert in one of the component categories, you will also serve as a trainer for PM-related subjects within the plant, contributing to the overall development of your team and the organization.
