About the position

The Senior Process Consultant of Artificial Intelligence will join the Strategy and Optimization team at The Hartford, focusing on enhancing business processes through the implementation of Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, and Machine Learning. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence, requiring collaboration across various functions to drive innovation and efficiency. The position can be performed in a hybrid or remote work arrangement, depending on the candidate's location.

Responsibilities

• Aids with the design, development, and implementation of strategies and tactics for effective and efficient process management and continuous improvement.
• Lead the implementation of generative AI capabilities to transform business processes and services.
• Puts Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of the Employee (VOE) at the center of all process changes.
• Executes continuous improvement of operational level processes using lean methodology.
• Creating, managing, and updating a Continuous Improvement Plan and process.
• Executing and managing continuous improvement projects and activities.
• Redesigning the process represented in a future state map and translating it into continuous improvement activities.
• Partner with business leads to map out current-state and maintain future-state business-process flows.
• Develop KPIs that determine the health of the processes with business input.
• Partner closely with multiple business areas to develop solutions that meet customer and employee needs.
• Communicate complex AI concepts and strategies to non-technical stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
• Act as an advocate for innovation within the organization.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and feedback from various business units.
• Lead and/or support projects and initiatives across Operations, validating business requirements and communicating project status.
• Assess the strengths and opportunities of projects to drive efficiency and improvement.
• Manage and monitor project timelines to deliver desired outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Data Science, GenAI, or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years strategic project management experience with Generative AI, Predictive Analytics, Machine Learning, and Automation Tools.
• Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills at all levels within the organization.
• Strong ability to manage complexity and ambiguity.
• Possesses strong technical expertise and understanding of leveraging technology to enhance business processes.
• Experience in developing and utilizing measurement methodologies to evaluate business outcomes.
• Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
