About the position

The Sr Procurement Manager at CBRE is responsible for overseeing a large team dedicated to sourcing, negotiating, and managing service providers for outsourced services. This role involves collaborating with various clients and departments to develop and implement complex procurement strategies, ensuring effective management of contracts and supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, including training and development, performance evaluations, and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establishing work schedules and assigning tasks.
• Assist with the development of company-wide policies, procedures, and playbooks.
• Work with business stakeholders and executive sponsors to execute strategies at local, regional, and global levels.
• Draft, review, negotiate, and maintain contracts for purchasing goods and services.
• Oversee contract terminations, expirations, extensions, and renewals, and communicate changes to management.
• Manage the supplier and contractor certification process, including performance reviews and cost management.
• Mentor and educate on contemporary outsourcing practices and manage expectations across diverse teams.
• Review RTFs, select solutions, and approve contracts with service providers.

Requirements

• Proven experience in procurement and sourcing management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience in managing teams.
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
• Ability to develop and implement procurement strategies effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work with various stakeholders.
