About the position

The Sr. Product Analyst at BECU plays a crucial role in driving impactful change by owning the analytics for Financial Health products. This position focuses on transforming data into actionable insights that shape product strategies, enhance member satisfaction, and fuel innovation, directly supporting BECU's mission of improving financial well-being for its members.

Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed reports on metrics such as Financial Health, product adoption, and retention to guide strategic decisions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Use advanced analytics to pinpoint areas for product improvement, optimize pricing strategies, and enhance member experiences.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and recommend adjustments to maintain BECU's market leadership.
  • Collaborate with product managers, marketing, finance, and other stakeholders to align product strategies with organizational goals.
  • Ensure all products meet credit union regulations, internal policies, and security standards, especially in data operations and marketing practices.
  • Explore and implement cutting-edge analysis techniques to deepen insights and help shape product strategies.
  • Tackle additional tasks as assigned to contribute to the continuous improvement of BECU's products and processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Accounting, Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or Economics.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in product-related analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Strong presentation and project management skills, with the ability to communicate complex data insights to diverse stakeholders.
  • Previous experience within a credit union or other financial services environment.
  • Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.
  • Experience with tools such as Snowflake and Azure DevOps.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in visual data analytics tools like Tableau, PowerBI, or Google Data Studio.
