About the position

The Agile Business Analyst role at Moody's is designed for experienced professionals who will support the definition and delivery of digital solutions within the Product team. This position emphasizes building strong business relationships, translating customer needs into actionable outcomes, and advocating for user-centric product experiences. The analyst will engage with various stakeholders to ensure successful product execution while maintaining transparency and collaboration throughout the process.

Responsibilities

• Translate product vision into codable and measurable components with detailed user stories.
• Liaise across business, design, and delivery partners to ensure clarity of business objectives and user needs.
• Maintain an evergreen Product roadmap and backlog for timely delivery and dependency management.
• Facilitate demos, oversee user acceptance testing, and coordinate relevant training efforts to enable product delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred with relevant experience.
• Minimum of five years for Senior Product Analyst; less than five years for Product Analyst.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills to translate business data analysis into actionable tasks.
• Ability to author thorough, detailed, high-quality documentation, including customer journey maps, user stories, use cases, and test scripts.
• Experience managing requirements and design-related activities for complex, multi-business, multi-system initiatives.
• Experience in Agile development framework, product lifecycle development, and JIRA.
• Finance/Accounting and/or Data background is a plus.
