About the position

Pinterest is seeking a Senior Product Designer who will be responsible for creating intuitive and delightful user experiences. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop user-centric solutions that align with Pinterest's mission of inspiring users. The designer will uphold high design standards and contribute to the overall quality of the product while working within a flexible work model called PinFlex.

Responsibilities

• Design products with pixel-level precision, focusing on systematic, interactive, and visual aspects.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, product management, and research to create impactful, user-centric solutions.
• Manage feedback from stakeholders across the company to refine designs.
• Work alongside engineers during implementation and quality assurance phases.
• Inspire and uphold a high level of design execution across the team.

Requirements

• Proven track record of envisioning, building, and iterating on digital products in partnership with product management and engineering.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating outstanding design skills, particularly in prototyping and product thinking informed by qualitative and quantitative insights.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate design decisions and the problems they solve.
• Attention to detail and ownership over product quality.
• Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, and graphic design principles.
• Ability to work within and extend a design system, with experience in design systems and product redesigns being a plus.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to engage cross-functional partners.
