About the position
The Hopper Technology Solution (HTS) team - APAC is seeking an experienced Product Designer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in leading the design and delivery of innovative solutions that enhance the travel booking experience across the APAC region. As a Product Designer, you will operate in a broader scope than traditional design roles, requiring a balance between managing multiple features and maintaining high-quality design standards while keeping the customer experience at the forefront. In this position, you will be responsible for generating innovative and delightful design components that align with our product and business goals. You will lead UX research to understand consumer travel shopping patterns across various markets, ensuring that our designs are informed by real user needs. Additionally, you will manage detailed stakeholder feedback and requirements from external partners, including one of the largest banks in the region, ensuring that all design decisions are well-supported and strategically aligned. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing the best travel booking platform in APAC, leveraging customer research and data to enhance product convenience and rewards. You will dive deep into product data to identify opportunities for design improvements and maintain an organized design portfolio for compliance and legal reviews. Leading design reviews with external partners will also be a key part of your role, where you will advocate for design decisions and build strong business cases for proposed features.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- Experience in product design, particularly in consumer marketplaces.

- Strong decision-making skills using quantitative and qualitative data.
- Detail-oriented approach to design.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to drive clarity and resolution.
- Ownership of projects with good judgment and quick execution.
